The Detail & Artistry
This seal is a masterpiece of medieval iconography. It depicts a traditional sailing vessel of the era, featuring:
The Crew: Four figures are visible—one sounding a wind instrument, two expertly trimming the sail, and one seated at the stern.
The Vessel: A detailed ship featuring a traditional starboard-side quarter-rudder.
The Sea: Below the hull, the waves are intricately carved, revealing seven hidden fish.
