Our meticulously sculpted Druid figure captures the essence of ancient wisdom, poised with his staff and sickle, ready for the sacred act of cutting mistletoe from the oak. He is adorned in a flowing robe, with the mystical Awen symbol hanging from his belt.
This enigmatic figure embodies the profound mystery surrounding the Iron Age Druids. As we researched their history, we were struck by how little is truly known, making them one of the most intriguing aspects of ancient times.
The creation of each Druid figure begins with rough sketches, drawing inspiration from classical texts and historical sources. From these initial concepts, the figure is meticulously sculpted from clay, which then forms the basis for a precise mould. Each figure is made from a poly resin and then hand-coloured and finished, ensuring unique character and attention to detail.
Standing at approximately 3.8 inches (97mm) tall and weighing around 136 grams, this figure is a substantial and captivating addition to any collection.
