Description
The Knights Templars were a religious-based warrior whose main function was to protect pilgrims on their way to the Holy Lands.
As time wore on they became more involved in the wars in the Holy lands which were known as the crusades which were from the 1090s to around 1290.
Many English placenames still have the word Temple in them. They were probably Templer bases of one description or another.
The Templars were outlawed and disbanded from 1307 to 1312. Much myth exists around there real function and activities and even more exists about their hidden treasures!
Our Templar sword features a forged steel blade with solid brass pommel and guard – both adorned with the Templar Cross in red enamel.
Comes complete with leather scabbard with and baldric shoulder belt.
