Inspired by a silver sceatta circulating around 720 AD (part of the “Wodan Monster” coin series), this plaque faithfully recreates the stylized portrait of Wodan, known as Odin in the Viking world. The original coin, just 12mm in diameter, features the god with his characteristic beard and a uniquely wild hairstyle.
Each plaque is meticulously created using the cold cast method and is entirely handmade in our craft workshop nestled in the Cambrian Mountains of West Wales. Measuring approximately 5 inches (12cm) in diameter and weighing around 150 grams, this substantial piece features a practical sawtooth hanger on the reverse for easy display.
